the hustle and bustle of everyday life. And how can you miss Coolangatta when
talking about this coastal area. This southern city is the gateway to South
East Queensland. The Gold Coast Airport is located at a stone throw away

combination of natural, shopping and entertainment centers as well as accommodation, which is
rarely seen in other parts of the globe.
Nothing could
introduce the state of Queensland better than Coolangatta. Its north facing
beaches, along with Greenmount and Rainbow Bay are some of the most popular and
must visit beaches, if you ever happen to visit this town.
The walking tracks
which connect Rainbow Bay with Coolangatta provide the opportunity to explore
the coastline at your own leisure. This fabulous city along with the nearby
Tweed also has some historic links, extending back to to the late 18th
century when Captain Cook named Point Danger as he arrived at the cost in the
year 1770.
The city also
offers a wide range of activities. For instance, there are a few dive sites at
Kirra and Cook Island. You can also get a chance to spot dolphins at Point
Danger, along with a variety of migratory birds and humpback whales.
